There is no doubt, Charleston is one of the most beautiful places to do a photoshoot!


there are a ton of places around town but here are some of my favorites!


Hampton Park

Hampton Park is absolutely stunning year round, which is why I tend to chose it for most of my mini sessions! There are so many different looks to the park. You have the beautiful walkways that are covered with moss trees, flowers in bloom all year long, and even a large pond!


Folly Beach

Folly Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in charleston. there are different views all over the beach. If you don't mind walking, you can take a 15 minute storll down a GRAFFITI covered pathway to where you can see the lighthouse at the end of the island. if you don't want to walk to far before your shoot, no worries! one of my favorite spots is down at the 9th street west beach access. down there you have plenty of beach and there is typically no one around!


chalmer's street

COBBLESTONE STREETS ARE A RICH PART OF CHARLESTON HISTORY. IF YOU WANT MORE OF THE DOWNTOWN FEEL FOR YOUR SESSION, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHALMER'S STREET. THE HOMES DOWN THERE HAVE BEAUTIFUL COLORS AS WELL THAT PROVIDE A REALLY PRETTY BACKGROUNDS!

rainbow row

another special place in charleston's history is rainbow row. There is literally a rainbow of homes that can give you beautiful backdrops! want a pink house? not a problem! Green or blue? Rainbow is for you!


white point gardens

Downtown Charleston is also home to White Point Gardens. It is right up the street from Rainbow Row, which makes it perfect for a duo location for longer sessions! it is Right on the water and under big oak trees. there is also a beautiful gazebo!


Botany Bay

the last location on my favorites list is Botany Bay! I have done so many shoots out there! timing is everything out at Botany Bay. it can be difficult to schedule around the tide at the beach and their numerous hunting sessions, but if you can find the perfect day, it really is a perfect location! There are beautiful big oaks trees, the beach, and marsh views!
